Safe host boundary
The script validates every option, requests a versioned JSON shape over HTTPS, creates text nodes instead of injecting remote HTML, and isolates presentation in a shadow root.

Honest source contract
Every widget identifies NOAA CO-OPS predictions, MLLW datum, station-local clock, and the planning-only limitation. Missing data stays missing.
