Perigee's tide widget is a free, no-account website embed for NOAA high and low tide predictions. One script or sandboxed iframe renders station-local time, an explicit datum, a no-navigation warning, and a visible source path. It stores nothing about the visitor.

Safe host boundary
Both formats validate every option and request a versioned JSON shape over HTTPS. The script creates text nodes in a shadow root; the no-index iframe grants only scripts and link popups.

Honest source contract
Every widget identifies NOAA CO-OPS predictions, MLLW datum, station-local clock, and the planning-only limitation. Missing data stays missing.

How do I add a tide widget to my website?
Search for a coastal station, choose the number of days, units, and theme, then copy either the generated JavaScript or iframe embed into the page where the tide table should appear.
Does the tide widget work with WordPress, Squarespace, or Webflow?
Yes, when the site plan and editor allow a custom HTML or iframe block. Choose the iframe format for the simplest CMS setup, or the JavaScript format when the site permits external scripts.
Is the Perigee tide widget free?
Yes. The public tide widget requires no account or API key and can display one to three days of NOAA high and low tide predictions.
Does the tide widget track visitors?
No. The widget does not use cookies, local storage, geolocation, fingerprinting, or an analytics beacon. Attribution is recorded only if a visitor follows its visible Perigee link.
Can I remove the NOAA source and Perigee link?
No. The source, planning limitation, and Perigee attribution are part of the free widget contract and must remain visible.
Can I use the widget for navigation or safety decisions?
No. It publishes planning predictions referenced to MLLW, not navigation, emergency, clearance, or safety guidance. Check official notices and local conditions for operational decisions.
